The Sunset In Goa series is a tribute to the epic raves that would begin at sunset and end at sunrise, on the beautiful beaches of Goa, India. And at times, would continue even into midday.
I begin this series for two reasons. First I was, and still am a huge fan of goa and psychedelic trance. But I find myself troubled by the path the genre is taking. Seems there are less and less melodies in the tracks these days and more bass pounding beats. The balance seems off....so I always find myself listening to the classic tracks in the 90's and early 2K when goa trance was still introducing itself to the music world.
Secondly, I begin this series because of the strong, and persistent urges of one https://www.mixcloud.com/trance-grace/. She is the diva of trance DJ's, and for some odd reason, likes my trance mixes very much. :) Check out my TranceXtasy series...and do check out her page as well!
